They produced the very first pepper mill, which was wooden, way back in 1946 but the actual company was founded in 1919 in London. They quickly entered into the market for home and kitchenwares and in 1975 the very first acrylic pepper mill was produced, in the famous capstan design.

They quickly became market leaders and established a reputation as being ‘the’ company for top quality salt and pepper mills.
